Criminal Conviction History

For the civilian marketplace, Criminal Conviction Histories come from four sources:

   Federal Criminal Conviction Histories:

Federal courts are where one finds convictions for Federal
crimes such as counterfeiting, air piracy, international
drug smuggling, Medicare fraud, and a host of other offenses.

   State level Criminal Conviction Histories:

State courts are where one finds convictions for State
crimes such as forging State documents, unemployment
fraud, and a host of other offenses.

   Statewide Criminal Conviction Histories:

These statewide histories, are available in 39 of the 50
respective state's criminal bureau of investigation, or
state police, or department of public safety, or the
like. Usually, they contain records for all of the
counties in that state, but not in all 39 states. Also,
various states filter their records differently, and
some report only completed convictions.

   County Criminal Conviction Histories:

The bulk of criminal conviction histories are available
at the county level. This is where you generally find
convictions for murder, child molestation, arson, carrying
a concealed weapon, assault, bad checks, and a myriad of
other offenses.

The Integrity Center retrieves any records for each request fresh each day in response to your requests. NO stored data is used. To expedite the process of gathering records from over 3,100 courthouses nationwide we have our sister company The Internet Courthouse, Inc. which helps our on-site researchersat the courthouses check, format, and transmit any records to our data center. That is one reason why our turn-around is so fast and our service is so accurate.

The turn around time for court record retrievals is 1-3 days, with an actual average of about 48 hours. However, the Statewide conviction histories that come from the various state agencies can take anywhere from 1 day to many weeks depending upon the automation of that particular state agency.
